Greens Garden for Busy Families – Part 2 – Growing Up Gardening Series
June 3, 2020
There is nothing easier or more rewarding nutrition or cost-savings wise, than growing leafy greens. We are so fortunate in Florida to be able to have fresh greens for salads and more year round. With careful planning, your family can grow all of your greens that you eat in a year.
Many perennial greens are actually higher in vitamins and minerals than the veggies at the store, and they have the benefit of being homegrown. Learn which greens to plant when, and what growing conditions they need to thrive.
The Zoom class will be recorded and sent to you after the class along with some e-resources.
These gardening classes are taught by Amanda Streets, a former elementary educator, school garden leader, and parent who uses nature as inspiration and a guide for learning.
Living Roots Eco Design, LLC is an organizational member of the St. Pete Timebank. We are happy to give time credits for your attendance.
